I have truly been blessed, to be called, and to serve you and Outdoor and Retreat Ministries in this exciting and dynamic ministry since September 1977.  My responsibilities have changed from a retreat user to becoming a volunteer and then to serve for eleven years as the site manager at Wesley Woods. The last 20 years as the Director have been even more exciting as ORM has followed the mission of the Northern Illinois Conference of the Untied Methodist Church.  I continue to serve the Board of Outdoor and Retreat Ministries, their vision and direction for the future of this ministry to the congregations, campers, retreaters, volunteers and staff who participate in programs, camps and retreats year round. Partnership opportunities abound in the next decade to continue to provide relevant and meaningful experiences that share the love of Jesus Christ in these beautiful retreat settings.  How might I help you or your congregation grow in your faith?

Welcome to the Outdoor and Retreat Ministries. If you have called the ORM office since September, 2000. I have had the pleasure of talking to you!  My responsibilities cover just about everything that happens out of the administrative office.  I answer your questions about camps and retreats. I  receive your registration forms, keeping track of your payments and then write all the disbursement checks for the organization.  I am here Monday through Friday, 9:00-3:00 to serve you.  Give me a call and I will help you find the answer to your camping and retreating questions.  I hope to see you at Camp real soon!
